The final saw Polish dynamo Iga Świątek go up against big hitter Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan. After trailing 4-1 in the first set, Świątek fought back to win 7–6 (10–8) 6–2 – her third successive title.
The total prize fund for the event is over USD 3.2M, attracting the world’s best players to compete in the Gulf.

The 2025 WTA Qatar TotalEnergies Open is one of the premier dates on the WTA calendar, taking place from 9 – 15 February 2025.
Since 2001, Doha has hosted all the big names in women’s tennis. Victoria Azarenka, Maria Sharapova, Petra Kvitova and many others have all been crowned champions of this event. The event is a WTA1000 tennis tournament on the WTA Tour, governed by the Women's Tennis Association.
Men’s tournament ATP 2024 Doha also welcomes the Qatar ExxonMobil Open from 19 to 24 February 2024. Roger Federer, Andy Murray, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic have all won multiple titles at the Qatar event in the men’s ATP tour. Daniil Medvedev of Russia is the reigning champion.
