Mark your calendar for a spectacle of the sky: Qatar Balloon Festival 2024. Join hot air balloon enthusiasts and soak up the magic of sunrise balloon flights, illuminated balloons and daily entertainment at Katara Cultural Village.
The first balloon festival took place in 2019, attracting thousands of visitors from all over the world and soaring to become a global sensation. Expect more than just round balloons – in the past, the captivating designs included clowns, pirate ships and aliens! While you gaze up at the sky, you can also enjoy lots of entertainment and delectable food around the festival grounds.
Over the 10 days, you’ll enjoy many opportunities to catch breath-taking displays, including sunrise balloon flights and afternoon activities that run into a night glow in the evening. See the official Balloon Festival website for an up-to-date schedule.
Qatar Hot Air Balloon Festival 2024 will take place at the Katara Cultural Village – Doha's hub for arts, music and cultural activities. It features several attractions, such as the Amphitheatre and Katara Beach, as well as various restaurants and cafes.
