Zekreet Fort
Just inland from the sandy half-moon shaped Bay of Zekreet on the Zekreet Peninsula, adjacent to the town of the same name, are the remains of Zekreet Fort. Dating to the early 19th century, the site contains the remnants of old settlements with four preserved watchtowers resting silently amongst wind-battered rock formations.

Nestled between limestone rock formations outside Zekreet, just north of Doha, lies Richard Serra’s East-West/West-East installation. Comprising of four steel plates, each of which is over 14m in height, the installation spans over 1km.
