The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ left a lasting legacy with significant investments in infrastructure, transportation, tourism, and the sports industry. Seven new stadiums (and one renovation) were constructed, using 40% less water and being 30% more energy-efficient than international standards.
To benefit other nations, surplus seats will be donated, and the facilities will find new life with hospitals, schools, places of worship, and hotels. Most of the dismantled materials from Stadium 974 are set to be reused in Africa and South America
